WHAT’S YOUR STORY? EXPRESSIVE WRITING

What’s Your Story?

Expressive Writing

Fill Your Paper with the Breathings of Your Heart” — William Wordsworth

Everyone has a story to tell. About who we are. Our struggles & challenges. Our joys & triumphs. About where we’ve been and about where we hope to go. What’s the story in your heart?

Welcome to “What’s Your Story?”, an Expressive Writing group where you can explore the unique experiences that make up who you are in a safe and supportive environment. Join us online starting April 15, 2024 at 5:30pm PST / 8:30pm EST for a cozy evening of writing and connection. As a form of self-expression, you’ll often be surprised to discover something new about yourself during the writing process; as well as, be inspired by other people’s words and stories. No experience is necessary. You do not need to identify as a “writer”. All you need is an open mind, heart and imagination. Come as you are to create, listen and encourage, yourself and others, as we spend time getting to know ourselves and the stories within our hearts together.

Testimonials:

Working with Sabrina this past month has been a gift. With her guidance and patience, I’ve been able to tap into emotions I wasn’t aware that I was still holding onto and process them through my writing. I’m looking forward to continuing Expressive Writing in April; there’s so much more to uncover!

Workshops with Firepot Expressive Arts Therapy have served a wide array of purposes in my life. They’ve acted both as a sweet, gentle way to relax and unwind after a long day to initiators of change through the creative and therapeutic processes presented by sparking deep personal insights that unfolded through my days, weeks and months after the workshop. Sabrina holds space for gatherings in-person and virtually in beautiful, intentional ways that have allowed me to make meaningful encounters with myself and others in my local community and beyond. I always leave her workshops feeling inspired and uplifted!
